May 4th-8th is Teacher Appreciation Week, and we have started the celebration early. #205 teachers were able to present a check to the Galesburg FISH Food Pantry. District #205 made the donation of $5 per #205 staff member, totaling $3,145. Through this gift that will serve so many in need, our intention is to convey our appreciation for you all!

The 2019-2020 School year calendar has two built in emergency days during the month of March, March 12 & March 13. Dr. Asplund has decided to change the emergency days to non student attendance days. To clarify, there will be no student attendance on March 12 & March 13.

Today at Churchill we held our State Mandated lock down drill. This drill was coordinated with local authorities at 1:30 pm. We wanted each of you to be aware in case your children had any questions or concerns that arose from the procedure.
