Galesburg High School hosted a FAFSA completion workshop on January 18th. With the help of financial aid partners from Knox College, Monmouth College, Carl Sandburg College, and the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC), many families were able to complete their FAFSA application.

Please remember that every graduating senior must complete the FAFSA before receiving their diploma. FAFSA completion is a state of Illinois graduation requirement. Before reaching out for FAFSA assistance, both the parent and student must create an FSA ID by visiting studentaid.gov. The FSA ID is how you will log into FAFSA and should be created 2-3 days before FAFSA completion to allow for verification.
