The GHS Marching Streaks participated in the Geneseo Maple Leaf Classic on Saturday, September 25, 2021. Just like the previous competition last weekend, they ended the night with wins, and this time, adding a few more titles to their record.
The band won best winds, best percussion, best Colorguard, best drum majors, and first place in Class 3A.
The GHS Marching Streaks also claimed Grand Champion with a score of 923 out of eight competing bands including United Township with a score of 721 and Bettendorf with a score of 716.
The competitions season continues at Dunlap on October 16, 2021, and at the University of Illinois on October 23, 2021.
