Galesburg Kiwanis Club proudly honored our Galesburg High School Key Club seniors for their years of dedication to service by presenting them with special medallions to wear at graduation. 🏓 The week will wrap up with our Pickleball Tournament on Friday, May 8th at 5 PM!
All funds raised from the tournament will go toward Relay for Life to help make a difference in the fight against cancer.

This is a reminder regarding student drop-off procedures to ensure the safety of all students and the smooth flow of traffic around our building. All student drop-offs/pick-ups must take place in West Circle Drive, which is accessed via Dayton Avenue.
For safety reasons, students are not permitted to be dropped off/picked up:
In front of the school
In neighboring commercial parking lots
On Hawkinson
These procedures are in place to reduce congestion and, most importantly, to protect our students during arrival times.

Baseball Schedule Update:
Due to the baseball games being suspended last night because of the weather, we have the following schedule changes:
Tomorrow, we will complete the suspended games in addition to playing the regularly scheduled games. To accommodate the games, there will be some changes in location and start times:
The Sophomores will travel to Moline to resume their suspended game at 4 p.m., followed by the regularly scheduled contest.
The Varsity team will resume their suspended game at Sundberg Field at 4 p.m., with the regularly scheduled game to follow.

For the first time ever, GHS Football introduced a team draft, where members of the Leadership Board hand-selected their squads. These 10 squads are built on accountability, leadership, and pushing each other to be better every day.
Leadership wasn’t given — it was earned. Players applied and were selected to lead, setting the standard both on and off the field. From volunteering at the Special Olympics to showing up in the crowd to support classmates in the school musical, these athletes are earning points through real impact in our community.
More than a team… it’s a brotherhood built on leadership and service. #StreaksNation

On April 21st, 17 of our 9th–11th-grade students headed to the QCCA Expo Center for the Build My Future career day. They didn't just walk through booths—they got hands-on in interactive labs led by industry pros, exploring everything from construction trades to medical career paths. 🧱🩹
Early exposure to these high-demand fields is how we support our students in building a clear path to their future. #StreaksNation #CTE
