1. Clean out and wash your child's backpack and lunchbox.
2. Get fall jackets and coats ready.
3. Read, read, read. Reading to your child just 15 min. a day improves their reading.
4. Practice counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division facts.

At Silas Willard a new tradition has started for PE. One select student from each grade level is picked to be the student of the quarter. This student demonstrates great knowledge and performance of physical education skills and terms. The Galesburg Silver Streaks take on the Sterling Golden Warriors tonight for Friday Night Football! We are proud to honor Galesburg and Sterling veterans as honorary captains for both teams while the Streaks will be dressed in a military-themed alternate jersey.

K-4th grade students must remain with and sit with their parent/guardian.
